The Anglican Parish of St. Peter’s Quamichan should have regular service again by mid-to-late September following months of extensive repairs and construction.
So says the head of the grounds building committee for the church Alan Gurzinski.
He says the 146-year-old structure needed work on the foundation as well as a new organ, heating and electrical system.
Gurzinski adds the wait will be well worth it.

He says the only thing that won’t be finished on time is one of the stain glass windows which should be repaired and added to the church by November.
