20 firefighters from the Malahat, Mill Bay and Shawnigan Lake halls as well as a provincial helicopter and water bomber were used to put out a blaze on Saturday evening near Spectacle Lake.
According to a report, fire crews made their way to the scene after being notified by a resident of heavy smoke in the area.
The case is under investigation, however, there are reported concerns that it was human-caused.
