Ladysmith water system gets a boost

Staff in Ladysmith have gotten the green light to proceed with a pilot project to test a secondary water filtration system.

That’s important because Mayor Rob Hutchins says there has been some high turbidity levels in the water coming from Holland Lake at some times of the year….

Hutchins says the water system in Ladysmith, as it is, is safe but the installation of the second filtration system is a proactive move to ensure it continues to be.
