The Municipality of North Cowichan will look at the costs of connecting some homes on Lakes Road to the south end sewer area and will consider shellfish harvesting management at their regular meeting tomorrow (Wed).
On top of that they’ll deal with a notice of motion to include a referendum question on the ballot in the next election asking ratepayers about their support for the amalgamation of local governments in the Cowichan region.
And, a motion from Councillor John Koury is the result of a lack of 2013 financial statements while forging ahead with 2014 statements…..
Koury says an Audit Committee would ensure council has a good understanding of the health of the organization from a financial perspective.
