Interest Spikes in Boating Tourism on Vancouver Island & Coast

Visits to the Ahoy BC website doubled from last year, the first year the site was up and running.
Michael McLaughlin, Manager of the BC Ocean Boating Tourism Association says the website helps boaters plan trips throughout the coastal and island shores in BC but it’s much more than that…..
McLaughlin says marina operators are reporting a 5th good year in a row.
In the meantime, McLaughlin says the Association will continue to promote boating tourism on the Coast and, to that end, will be attending a number of boat shows and they plan to launch a digital marketing campaign in the very near future.
