The worst is still to come, according to Environment Canada.
The third and final storm is expected to hit the Cowichan Valley on Saturday evening into Sunday. Forecaster Technician Greg Pearce says wind will remain the big factor over the weekend.
Pearce says once this storm passes, things brighten up a bit.
Pearce estimates between 45-50 millimetres has fallen in the Cowichan Valley so far, and he expects that amount to double by the end of the weekend.
