The Boil Water Advisory in Mesachie Lake has been lifted.
CVRD Operations Superintendent Todd Etherington says the third consecutive sample indicated the water is safe to use.
Etherington says they are no longer injecting chlorine into the water system, so the smell and taste will dissipate and return to normal.
The boil water advisory was originally put in place on Wednesday after a routine water sample showed the presence of e-coli.
