The BC Coroners Service say one man is dead, and reports say two others were taken to hospital after a violent incident in Chemainus.
The incident happened on Caswell Street on Friday afternoon just before 2pm, and there are reports this was a result of a stabbing incident.
RCMP haven’t released any more details, but they say there is no danger to the public.
