Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for east Vancouver Island.
Spokesperson Matt MacDonald says the snow system over us now will continue to produce light snow for the balance of today and overnight tonight with total amounts between 5 and 10 centimeters…
He says at higher elevations, like the Malahat the snow will also be accumulating.
Following the system, MacDonald is expecting some arctic air to settle in for the weekend.
